Associate Insurance Officer

Freedom Business Services (Pvt) Ltd is a fully owned subsidiary of Freedom Finance Australia that is engaged in the financial planning industry in Australia. Freedom Business Services provides offshore support for the business activities of the organization.

Job Overview :

The Associate Insurance Officer is responsible for the effective administration support of the insurance division of the business. You will be liaising with various internal and external stakeholders as well as ensuring the smooth operations of the insurance branch of FFAU.

This role supports our organizational initiatives to continue to grow, build, maintain, and evolve our current processes to ensure clients are living their best life. The role will be varied and requires excellent administrative skills, a pro-active attitude, willingness to learn, and attention to detail in order to fulfill the insurance requirements.

Responsibilities :

• Update the clients about any overdue payments.
• Follow up on client’s insurance premium payments.
• Update clients with lapse information.
• Understand key insurance laws and regulations around financial planning set out by ASIC (Australian Securities and Investments Commission) in Australia.
• Excellent knowledge of insurance-related products in the Australian marketplace.
• Generate lapsed/overdue reports from different platforms.
• Prepare weekly reports based on the reports merged from the platform.
• Assist retention team with any other areas of work as required.
• Provide extensive support to the insurance team in Australia and Sri Lanka.

Qualifications & Experience :

• Degree/HND/ Diploma in Management or Insurance field would be an advantage
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent command of spoken and written English.
• Proficient in MS Word/Excel.
• Previous work experience in insurance or finance-related fields would be an added advantage.
• School leavers/First Year undergraduates are welcome to apply.
