Back End Developer

About You

We are seeking a talented and motivated back-end developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have at least 3-5 years of experience in developing and maintaining web applications and will be comfortable working with databases, APIs, and server-side scripting languages.

On day one we’ll expect you to have the following capabilities:

• Strong experience with PHP and SQL.
• Familiarity with RESTful API design and development.
• Understanding of database design and optimization.
• Knowledge of front-end technologies, such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Ability to write clean, readable, and well-documented code.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Good communication and collaboration skills.
• Experience with version control systems, such as Git.

This position is currently full-time work from home, ideally based in Sri Lanka.

Working hours: the successful applicant will keep hours that overlap at least 5 hours with the Australian work day. We work on Sydney time (GMT+11) from 8:30am-4:30pm.
