Business Consultant – Manufacturing
Job Description
IFS North America seeks an experienced Business Consultant to play a key role in implementation of IFS Applications by providing the necessary business process consulting, training, documentation, and applications consulting to ensure the customer’s success in using IFS Applications as a tool to improve overall business performance.
Responsibilities
- Secure successful implementations of IFS Applications by providing services
- Develop business related knowledge to be able to understand and solve customer requirements
- Activities related to building and coordinating with other Business Consultants within the Organization.
- These activities include, but are not limited to:
- Provide training and mentoring to other Business Consultants within the Organization
- Work with the Customer Director to identify needs for application training and development and be responsible for coordinating and implementing those programs
- Work closely with other Business Consultants to ensure a complete solution is provided to customer and is the best fit in all areas
- Take active part in building a strong team
- Understand the importance of and pursue a high degree of customer service
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, or a related discipline is preferred
- Strong knowledge and experience in Manufacturing for asset intensive industries.
- 3-5 years’ experience in Manufacturing and/or ERP software solutions implementation or systems, and able to apply such knowledge to help solve customers’ business requirements
- Must have good presentation, organizational, and documentation skills
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Products
- Must understand the product and be able to train the customer
- Ability to learn quickly, communicate ideas effectively, define and lead team efforts, and utilize flexibility and creativity to present a variety of solutions
- Must be able to analyze and/or design business processes
- Perform other duties as assigned or requested
- Must be willing to travel up to 75% or more with potential for extended stints of continuous travel
