Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify data needs and develop data-driven solutions for enhancing our online tutoring platform.
• Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and data infrastructure to enable efficient data processing and analysis.
• Clean, transform, and analyze large datasets to extract meaningful insights and drive data-informed decision making.
• Apply statistical modeling and machine learning techniques to develop predictive models and optimize our tutoring algorithms.
• Conduct A/B testing and experiment analysis to measure the effectiveness of new features and interventions.
• Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and tutors to define data requirements and drive data-related projects.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field.
• Strong proficiency in Python/R and experience with SQL for data manipulation and analysis.
• Solid understanding of statistical modeling, machine learning algorithms, and data visualization techniques.
• Experience with data engineering tasks, including data pipeline development, ETL processes, and cloud technologies (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
• Familiarity with big data processing frameworks (e.g., Spark, Hadoop) and distributed computing environments.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work with large and complex datasets.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.
