Intern – Software Engineer

Computer Science & Engineering Internships | Department of Computer Science  and Engineering | University of Alaska Anchorage

NirvanaClouds is a SaaS software development company which serves clients around the world including Europe / Asia and America. We are looking for intern-software engineers to join our world class engineering team.

We’ve assembled a diverse team of experts in web design and development, cloud computing, artificial intelligence, and computer vision. As a Software Engineer Intern, you will be working alongside a team of engineers with a diverse set of backgrounds and skills.

 

 

What You’ll Do

• Participating in all aspects of software development activities, including design, coding, code review, deployment, testing, bug fixing, code/API documentation and maintenance
• Develop documentation for training on cloud solutions (Great way to learn about cloud computing solutions!)
• Implement and process rest APIs with JSON responses
• Work both independently and collaboratively within a fast-paced development team, with clear, positive, and constructive communication

 

 

Required Qualifications

• Individual should be following a full-time Bachelor’s degree program in Computer Science, Computer/Software Engineering, Information Systems, Mathematics, or Physics
• Familiarity with algorithms, data structures, storage systems, cloud infrastructure, front-end frameworks, and other technical tools
• Proficiency in a variety of programming languages such as Python, React, JavaScript, Java etc.
• Strong understanding of Rest APIs, relational/non-relational databases, Linux Operating Systems
• Basic knowledge of Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Google Cloud Platform (GCP) Strong programming skills in iOS/Android or React Native or Flutter
• A desire to work on software and applications that have real-world impact Must be able to work at least 35 hours per week

• Be naturally curious about the technologies and tools you use
• Have a bias for action. If you see a problem, you want to solve and fix it
