Job Brief:

We are looking for a results-oriented, experienced IT manager who can join us on our Digital journey, using your technological skills to make us more efficient. In this role, you will analyze our current systems and assets, recommend and implement solutions and upgrades, and provide training. Our ideal candidate has extensive knowledge of network maintenance, experience managing staff, and advanced industry knowledge to keep us on the cutting edge. Responsibilities:

➢ Manage information technology and computer systems

➢ Design, develop, implement, and coordinate systems, policies, and procedures

➢ Help with training, and coaching employees on the best use of technology

➢ Ensure security of data, network access and backup systems

➢ Engage with local and global clients, where necessary, to facilitate the business

➢ dentify problematic areas and implement solutions in a timely manner

➢ Operate an internal helpdesk and provide timely support to users

➢ Audit systems, IT assets and equipment, and assess their outcomes

➢ Negotiate with vendors and suppliers, and ensure SLAs are met

➢ Assist with budgeting and ensure cost effectiveness

Skills and Qualifications:

➢ Proven working experience as an IT Manager or relevant experience of a minimum of 3 years

➢ A degree or equivalent professional qualification in computer science or relevant field

➢ Excellent knowledge of technical management, information analysis and of computer hardware/software systems

➢ Hands-on experience in Windows and Linux server environments

➢ Hands-on experience in managing Office 365 installations

➢ Hands-on experience with cloud infrastructures (like AWS), SSO and data centre basics

➢ Hands-on experience in designing, implementing and maintaining secure network infrastructure and maintaining the industry’s leading firewall systems and switches

➢ Experience with or knowledge of programming languages is a distinct advantage

➢ Good oral and written communication and presentation skills

➢ Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills

➢ ITIL certification or experience with implementing ISO 27001 standards is a plus

➢ Experience with the use of office 365 stacks / power apps / power automate will be an added advantage
