We invite applications from suitably qualified candidates for the following position at Enfection located in Kotte, Sri Lanka. This vacancy is for an onsite, full-time position.

Here are some of the responsibilities you need to get your hands on;

• Conducting in-depth research on industry-related topics in order to develop original content.
• Developing content for articles, product descriptions, social media, and websites.
• Assisting the account management team/other relevant teams in developing content for campaigns.
• Research and interpret the objectives of the client’s/customer’s brief
• Proofreading content for errors and inconsistencies.
• Editing and polishing existing content to improve readability.
• Identifying customers’ needs and recommending new content to address gaps in the company’s current content.
• Analyse the differences between media campaigns aimed at retention, acquisition and conversion of customers for clients.
• Identify & recommend the appropriate platform/s or channel/s to use for the media campaign.
• Present ideas for pitches and proposals for creative content to be further developed.
• Develop and maintain your own competence and knowledge in specialist areas.
• Understanding the importance of brands, brand awareness and the intended audience within a brief.

Key Skills/Experience

• A comprehensive grasp of grammar, punctuation and spelling.
• Proven content writing or copywriting experience.
• Excellent writing and editing skills.
• A passion to learn and stay updated on the latest trends in the market.
• The ability to work in a fast-paced environment,and handle multiple projects concurrently.
• Effective communication skills.
• Different styles of writing that can be used according to the type of campaign.
• A passion for creating content for creative and digital media.
• A proactive and positive attitude, as well as good teamwork are essential for this role.
• Ability to work effectively both individually and collaboratively as part of a team.
• A strong work ethic and commitment in order to meet the standards required.
• Integrity, accountability and adherence to company procedures and policies.
• Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, Sinhala, journalism, or related field.
• Minimum 1 year content writing experience will be an added advantage.
• Experience in the digital marketing field will be an added advantage.
• Fluency in English/English writing will be an added advantage.
