Position Summary

Market LEAN Manager is responsible for all LEAN initiatives (LEAN Value Stream, LEAN Office, LEAN Design) within the Market itself. Coordinates the Roll-Out of LEAN initiatives in the market, guarantees the development of LEAN with consistency and alignment with the NCE model.
He works with the Zone AMS LEAN Initiatives Manager, Technical Director and Market Supply Chain, NCE Steering Committee, Value Stream Manager (BU) and the LEAN Value Stream / Design / Office Specialist (s). Supports the market in the LEAN strategy to build competencies and thus manage a consistent LEAN deployment in the market. It promotes Competencies in the market and the improvement of methods and tools, through: Trainings, Coaching, and Assessments.

A day in the life of …

• Lead the implementation of LEAN initiatives, directly supporting the LEAN Champion and Value Stream Manager and BEM.    
• Ensure a global understanding of the different LEAN competence streams and how they are integrated through implementation.        
• Carry out training modules – Coach and train people from the management workshop so that they have the knowledge and skills to apply Lean concepts / tools permanently. 
• Ensure the construction of competition in the market and guide the application of the structuring of knowledge for each competition.     
• Assistance to LEAN Value Stream / Design / Office Specialist (s) and Value Stream Managers and External Consulting (where applicable) to launch LEAN in business and functional units.                
• Motivate and empower people through positive attitude and stimulating mindset changes. (Zero waste, One Team, Push Vs. Pull, etc).      
• Coordinate monthly updates on progress and escalate issues in LEAN to the NCE steering committee in the marketplace and the Corporate LEAN organization.         
• Support and cooperate in the delivery of total market savings to contribute to the Organization’s investments and the final result of the P&L through the implementation of strategies and use of Continuous Improvement tools, providing monitoring of the progress of savings in the system corporate.                
• Ensure that the activities in its area of ​​competence are carried out respecting what is established in the quality, safety and occupational health & environment systems and are in accordance with the requirements of the international standards ISO 9000, 14000, 45000.

What will make you successful

• Knowledge and experience of Lean concepts and tools (Stabilize, Flow, and Pull        
• Strong knowledge and experience of the chain (Supply, production, engineering, administrative processes, flow of materials and information).            
• Strong Implementation Skills (GEMBA).             
• 5 years of successful practical experience in the application of LEAN in manufacturing + administrative processes, large and complex environments. (LEAN certification desirable)    
• Have some knowledge and experience about TPM (Maintenance).              
• Influence skills with people and ability to develop skills. 
• Advanced English level.
