Postdoctoral Fellow – Robotics Institute
Carnegie Mellon University’s Robotics Institute is searching for a Postdoctoral Fellow. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who thrives in an interesting and challenging work environment!
We are seeking creative and energetic candidates with systems engineering skills and experience working and collaborating within a team for a one-year postdoctoral position.Core responsibilities will include:
- Self-supervised learning in the context of robotic agents.
- Transfer of learning from simulation to hardware robots.
- Advancements in collaborative visual Artificial Intelligence (AI).
- Perform related duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
- Current enrollment in a degree-seeking program at the Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctorate level.
- Self-motivated, curious, and failure-seeking to achieve continuous improvements.
- Applies critical big picture thinking in completing tasks.
- Must be highly organized with the ability to work on multiple projects/tasks simultaneously and remain agile given changing priorities.
- Practices attention to detail, and respect for documentation accuracy and information sharing.
Preferred Qualifications:
- PhD Degree
- Experience in Machine Learning, Computer Vision
- Experience in publishing in top venues
