Executive – Sales & Marketing
The airline division of John Keells Group comprises of Mack Air (Pvt) Ltd., a limited liability company, established on 7th of February 1980. With 38 years of prestigious history in the aviation industry, as a General Sales Agent, Mack Air has the honor of representing world renowned names in aviation within Sri Lanka as well as in Maldives.
Job Responsibilities
- Responsible for implementing and executing sales and marketing strategies for the business unit.
- Bringing in new business leads and achieving the set sales targets.
- Carrying out sales visits to agency locations & corporates based on a weekly sales call plan in order to promote the relevant product and cater to the agency/corporate needs.
- Analysing the market trends and conditions in order to identify growth opportunities for the product.
- Negotiation with principles in order to obtain relevant pricing and marketing resources.
- Preparing and maintain of weekly/monthly sales report and performance reports which need to be presented to the Management.
- Maintaining excellent business relations with principals and the clients.
- Increasing brand visibility & handling digital marketing.
Person Specifications
- Significant knowledge of the travel/ airline industry
- Proven Sales record and a target driven mindset
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in the travel/ airline or hospitality industry
- A degree or a professional qualification in Marketing or Digital Marketing will be an added advantage
- Excellent communication, Time management, planning and negotiation skills
- Leadership Skills
- Proficiency in MS Office
