Specialist – Cloud Operations-(Dialog Axiata PLC)

Responsible for automation, cloud infrastructure planning, performance analysis, scripting, and troubleshooting of cloud hosted business applications and solutions.

The Job

• Perform regular health checks on critical applications deployed on public cloud, private cloud and premise systems. Focused on uptime, stability and performance aspects.
• Work directly with users of the cloud to support failures /performance issues/ connectivity issues etc.
• Working with in-house Application operations team, vendors and hardware support team to deal with issues quickly and effectively.
• Proactively identify all issues affecting systems/applications/databases that are hosted in public cloud infrastructure   as well as on prem environment.
•  Create efficient automated deployment workflows supporting cloud developments.
• Monitor, manage and troubleshoot issues in cloud solutions, virtual environments with native or third-party tools.
• Implementing and supporting cloud infrastructure, automating or assisting the automation of relevant systems or applications to streamline the administration.
• Collaborating with developers, management and vendors to make sure the secure applications being deployed in public cloud environments to ensure achievement of all business objectives.
• Design and implement Disaster Recovery processes, build and support company’s growth into the public cloud services
• Knowledge and fair  exposure on  Security Operations and assisting  Information Security team to implement  and manage necessary  security  controls in public cloud infrastructure

The Person

• The candidate should possess a Master’s degree in Information Technology or Computer Science from a recognized university.
• A basic degree with Industry Certification and Extensive.
• Minimum of 5 years work experience in a similar capacity.
• Experience of handling similar scope in a critical and dynamic work environment.
• Advanced knowledge of Linux OS.
• Experience in similar technologies and products is always preferred and considerable.
