Trade Marketing Manager
The selected candidates will be responsible for:
- Lead the Trade Marketing Strategy Development and execution, aligned with overall Company brand strategies and directions
- Lead the development and implementation of an integrated annual Trade marketing plan. Set challenging yet realistic targets and the specific key initiatives to deliver the same
- Collaborate with Sales team on strategy and execution of plans
- Development & execution of channel-based loyalty & visibility programs
- Manage the entire beverage category “Consumer Activation Programs” & the lead negotiator for sector events for all categories & managing the event teams and post mix operations
- Responsible for Effective utilization of company assets and managing company trade assets. Timely monitoring of the assets along with Sales, Marketing & Planning teams and maintain all records of the deployed assets
- Responsible for the annual trade marketing budget to deliver the plans, ensuring optimal allocation across the key initiatives
Required qualifications and skills:
- CIM/ SLIM (full qualification) / Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing with 5-8 years’ experience in Brand & Trade marketing / Sales management of which at least 3 years at a senior to mid-level in a large FMCG or MNC.
- Experienced in managing people and teams for at least 3 years
- Excellent communication skills oral and written with fluency in English and Sinhala. Tamil will be an added advantage
- Knowledge on working with large sets of data and good data analytical / excel skills
- Demonstrate leadership and team player attitude
