About the job

Encyte looking for motivated, creative and highly detailed oriented web developers to join us. The role is responsible for the design, layout and coding of websites/web applications. You will be involved with both the technical and graphical aspects. The role is also charged with undertaking regular maintenance and updates of websites/web applications.

Responsibilities

· Create the technical aspects of web applications (front end and backend)

· Support existing infrastructure & Maintain existing web applications

· Unit test web applications and systems

· Design and implement user-driven templates, databases and interfaces

· Architect websites, design data-driven applications, and find efficient client-server solutions

Requirements

· Knowledge of HTML, CSS and JavaScript with superior attention to detail

· Experience in Angular / React

· Ability in designing and maintaining a structured codebase that leverages internal or external APIs

· Ability in testing one’s work, including across multiple browsers and devices, with a focus on performance

· Knowledge of performance-minded development and optimization

· Strong work ethic, well-organized, results-oriented, and able to work both independently and with a team to meet deadlines

· Maintains awareness of latest web standards and web technologies
